Ambient Comfort

Engraved line drawing of Ambient Comfort (wearable concept): a concept model of the wearable. Moving the pointer over the drawing, or the Show in colour button, reveals the true-colour model.
The idea & the why
An EEG headset concept that brings electrodes, skin sensors and modular electronics into one wearable study for an adaptive comfort system.
The problem
An adaptive comfort system needs to understand the person in the room. That means sensing that is comfortable enough to wear, with every sensor in the right place.
Who it’s for
Teams designing human-centred environments and wearable sensing.
The thinking behind it
A modular band brings together EEG electrode positions, skin sensors and electronics pods. Modelling it first shows how the band, skin contact and internal packaging fit together before any hardware is made.
The result
A wearable platform for sensing experiments, designed around comfort and accurate sensor placement.

How it’s built
Every part below is read from the model file. Pick a group to pull its parts out of the assembly.
